BELIZE — Tuesday, 6 May 2025 – A midday fire on Tuesday has destroyed the main building of Shining Star Health Center. While the structure and all clinical equipment were lost, no injuries were reported. Founder and Director Ms. Clara Jane assured clients and supporters that the holistic retreat’s mission “burns brighter than ever.”
“The building is gone, but the Shining Star family is very much alive,” Ms. Clara Jane said.
“With faith and the support of our community, we will shine again soon.”
Immediate Changes
- Staff will contact every scheduled guest to reschedule or suggest alternative support.
- All in-person appointments are paused until further notice.
